John has over 30 years’ experience in the design, construction and management of strategic projects on a global scale, having managed projects in the Middle East, Far East, Europe, South America and the USA. John’s experience across a number of continents developed a strong knowledge base, and his understanding of the design process allows for early engagement in value engineering.

Desmond (Des) Lyons is a chartered engineer with over 25 years’ experience in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, and life-sciences industries. He has been involved in strategic and master planning for numerous facilities. He is an experienced design safety consultant and risk assessment manager, has a strong background in manufacturing, project and project controls management, operations management and supply chain management.

Des has chaired multiple Design Safety Assessments using methods such as HAZOP, ATEX, SIL, LOPA, What-If, Fault Tree, FMEA and various hazard and risk assessment methodologies. He has worked in several European countries and can converse in Dutch, French, and German.

Aine is an accomplished design engineer and project manager with over 25 years’ experience in both engineering design and construction, as well as significant experience in manufacturing from both a Consultant and Client perspective. Áine has a highly successful track record in the delivery of multiple complex projects against exacting capital cost and schedule constraints across consumer and bulk foods, pharmaceutical and waste handling industries.
